Some motor press sources are reporting that the AMG GTs' successor (MY 2022) will be available in coupe form only and stylistically closer to its' SL "canvas topped only" sibling than has been previously speculated. A "+2 option" will reportedly be available for BOTH cars.

A +2 option will be welcomed as the cars will be better situated to rival the Roma, 911 TTS and the DB11. Though like in those cars, I assume they’ll be for kids or just extra storage place rather than fit for adults.

I can see the SL as a 2+2, or a 2+

I can see the AMG GT as a 2+, but I cannot see it as a 2+2 unless it has no boot. Have you looked at the hood of that thing? Only the Batmobile has a longer dic.. err, hood.

Should the clay model be an accurate reflection of the production car, I somehow perceive the bonnet as being a bit shorter than that of the current model.

I like the look of the clay model. The front will appear quite sleek and have AMG One style intakes and lights.

This all sounds very messy. Hopefully they at least have very different styling, although this doesn't sound promising.

I don't know about the C63, 520 hp as a PHEV means it'll be a fat underpowered pig that'll be raped by the M3 G80 going by these specs. Will likely look better though lol

I doubt it, even though in comparison the dimensions seem to be on point, the overall impression that render gives is like a competitor of the 812 Superfast. It looks good in its own way but it’s certainly not a good design for the next gen GT, also it’s quite poorly designed from the back
