The profile looks much better on a larger screen.
I can definitely see how the original 300SL was worked into this new design.

The upper-end SL73 is going to be interesting from a packaging perspective.
The E-motor basically sits atop the rear axle, that combined with the folding roof and space for a small rear seat. The fuel tank in the car is going to be pretty small.

In terms of exterior design, I can, so far, find absolutely nothing to fault. This, along with the Porsche 992s', may stand as the most aspirational automobile for fans of German manufacturers. A nicely configured 992 Carrera 4 coupe + the new SL may be an ultimate dream garage duo.

It's an S-Level convertible and it's a lower-volume model so I expect that it'll have a swan song V8.

Looks good one min and funny the next. Sigh. I see a AMG GT Roadster that collided with a E-Class Cabrio or R231 SL.

I know...I blather on and on about how a BEV drivetrain would so exquisitely complement this stunning automobile. It pains me to think of this upcoming SL as a "swansong".

C'mon, M-B-make it happen !!
