There is a fresh thread of the 100 or I do not know how many more beautiful cars in history, which will hardly find a consensus, but in my opinion this aspires to the podium, not to say that it wins with a margin

It's probably what it is, actually. While not the best for the SL fans, it makes sense for MB. That's why the claims about MB wasting money on this car made no sense. The investment has probably been quite limited.

Wow, I must be the only one who likes what we see here. I even like the soft top with this design. A big fan of the overall design. This works way better than the GT, which is too phallic. I predict every hater will have to eat their words once this is unveiled.

Even though it could turn out to be quite exciting,but the relatively smaller size is still a let down,which has been confirmed.

Who's going to actually buy this sort of car in reasonable numbers? Young rich guys and girls, that's who. And they don't want your traditional older man luxury focused SL. They want something sporty and sexy.

Let's see how MB pulls this off.

I reckon that a pretty automobile lurks beneath the swirly-foil. Whether it finds a market beyond the ranks of affluent M-B loyalists remains to be seen.

I believe the car looks great, even with camo on. It's just that it is clearly a FL AMG GT. The have made it more interesting, with this new front end, a more crisp side profile and slighly sportier looking rearlights, but this SL is just a variant of the AMG GT, even engine wise.

This can work if the new AMG GT is something else. If it's just this same car but in coupe form and with a larger grille, then this strategy by MB is entirely pointless IMO.
