we clearly see the gear selector right near the trackpad...or this will remain only for the AMG models? but still no amg interior ....maybe that little thing will be just a rest place for the hand

Actually a fair point with the GT, but it's somewhat similar to the solution in the A-Class.

I think some of them did also some kind of voodoo on me because i feel strange

Panic over AC switchgear unnecessary. The way it's tucked up under the ledge, it's not all that noticeable. I haven't played with MBUX yet, but on latest cars you could control all the climate from the COMAND making the switches redundant. Now you can do it by voice.
So, it would make sense to have a compact, unobtrusive switch gear if not none at all. I still prefer the switchgear.
