I'm surprised by the 918 praise. To me the Carrera GT still has a nicer interior. Maybe it's the stick in the middle that does it for me?

That beachwood gear knob was a master stroke.

As much as we all have our preferences on which interior is the best and which one is the worst,TBH,hypercar interiors of the present day are FAR,FAR better than the abominations of the past (namely the 80's and the 90's),which has yielded in god-awful interiors of the.....

Vector W8 (The absolute WORST in my opinion)

Lamborghini LM002(I know it was no exactly a "hypercar" but my God it was atrocious inside):

Jaguar XJ220(Simply PLAS-TASTIC):

^You can't look at cars from 20+ years ago and compare them to how things are done in the present, technology and manufacturing processes have opened up new design possibilities that were unthinkable back then.

He isn't. He's merely pointing out how each of these new hypercar interiors of today are actually very nice against the backdrop of some absolutely hideous interiors (there were some supercars that did have nice cabins back then for the time) of years gone by.

As Martin also pointed out, that's not what I'm trying to do...Au contraire, there have also been very nice interiors from certain old-timers...However,they have been more of a rarity in the supercar/hypercar world, especially in the 80's and the early 90's,where many interiors have looked absolutely awful...

Point being, most supercar manufacturers didn't pay much attention to the interior at some point, and now, things are fortunately looking much better, even the ones we do not like, which seem infinitely better than, say,a Jag XJ220 or a Vector W8 interior...

PS...Now that I took a second look at the Vector....AAARRRRGH (loses visual ability for the rest of his life)

Amen to that,we can go all the way to the 50's (even further back in time),yet, despite the lack of high-tech,I can give you 2 very good examples right off the bat:

Mercedes 300SL Gullwing:

Ferrari 250GT California:

1- P1/918 Spyder (two very different concepts - each is good in its own way).
3- Huayra
4- One-77
5- LaFerrari
6- Veyron SS
7- Agera R

I also listed the Agera R interior to the bottom of my list,as I considered "outdated and etc...." but I really did not think it would be listed by all participating members, unanimously,as Stone-dead last....
Guess we all agree on how outdated it looks...For a 2.5-3 year-old car, that's rather quick for people to get fed up with it already

One model of car from the past sticks in my mind for producing quite stylist interior was the Vette.

These are two example of a period where I felt American left Europe for the most part were far behind.

Absolutely no contest for me.
918. Most technologically advanced, very well built. Quality top notch and driver focused.

Stunning...Looks simply amazing,and I'm picky about interiors...

Not only does the 918's cabin look the most modern - even futuristic - it also has the nicest design and, seemingly, excellent build quality.

Pagani can be toned down.. but then why not go ape shit..its a hyper car..

i can't stand the p1..and its boring interior..

On a different note..has anyone really taken a closer looks at the seats in the Lafer?

WOW!

I think the ones in the C63 are nicer :P

Regarding my previous post about the Vector W8,it seems some dim wit is bashing my related tweet, saying how driver-oriented the interior of the W8 was....Hmmmm
What do you guys reckon I should say in response?
