A significant sign of transformation here in Germany: Young, gifted mechanical/electronic engineers and digital industry talents are increasingly seeking employment with companies such as Rheinmetall, Helsing, Diehl, KMW and Airbus. And now accompanying English, Mandarin-Chinese is becoming an increasingly important foreign language. The allure of finding employment in the domestic automotive industry appears to be fading considerably.
