Hot! Porsche: What's Next

SSR Performance Bi Turbo GT3 RS thread open

Macan has always been a Q5 clone. It used Audi engines, Audi suspension and brakes, even it's "PDK" was just a reworked DSG as opposed to being a true PDK.

Nothing new here IMO, and the SQ5 which has a "permanent" quattro I am sure will carry over to the Macan S and higher trims.

Based of the covered rear wheels I wonder if this is a Manthey Racing kit for the Taycan GT. The end plates on the wing also look like the same ones they put onto the GT3 RS MR wing.

The Octan.

The rear 3/4 rendering looks very interesting.

Would Porsche AG be better advised to wait a bit and underpin this with the new, allegedly almost limitlessly scalable and highly modular SSP Sport architecture ? BEV and REEV appear a given. And produce it at the VAG large vehicle facility in Bratislava, Slovakia which is planned to be the corporate competence center for large sport/luxury SSP SUVs/SACs ?

“Top” ICE derivatives is clear: RS-only models in the ICE lineup which means that Porsche’s entry point for sports cars being EV remains the most likely prospect.

I’m interested to see how this pans out but I’m not optimistic. There was a time when Porsche offered an attainable entry point into a proper sports car experience where Boxsters and Caymans sold in good, profitable numbers. And customers were happy. The prospect of an open-top electric sports car is awful to me.

New gen GTS 4.0 and GT4... let's go bois!

(You won't be able to get one from your dealership unless you buy a Macan EV or Taycan EV from them.. jokes!)

Bit of a reach but.. This theoretically means Audi can start developing an ICE variant for the Coupe C too. Doubt it'll happen.

Looking around me and witnessing current events in Europe, I am beginning to realize all the more that NOTHING is chisled in stone today. This certainly applies to all things automotive. And much more as well.

Two new gas and hybrid powered SUVs. I assume the D-Segment SUV is the one that based on the Premium Platform Combustion Q5.
