Hot! Porsche: What's Next

Latest news, trending discussions, reviews, and major updates
In the past couple of weeks, I have said a few times that Porsche is probably the only manufacturer that has not adjusted its pricing for inflation. Compared with a C63, new XC90 or almost any new premium car, the Tayacan, Cayenne and Macan look like good value. :bangin: :bangin: :bangin:

That will change later this year - rightfully so:

The 992.2 Turbo (S) is going to have an electric turbo and no air vents on the side?

Little tidbit: The Audi activesphere concept revealed in January is a pointer to the direction Porsche is heading towards with the K1. (Keep in mind that the activesphere concept has the details in exaggerated form);)

Do you think? I understood the Porsche to be more like an SUV coupe, but it may be that you are right

Yes, an SUV coupe with cues from the Audi activesphere concept but way less exaggerated. Btw, Audi, Porsche and Bentley will ALL each have an EV suv with cues from the activesphere concept. Bentley's version is going to be first to production.

Have you heard anything about Panamera EV? I read Taycan mk2 is going to grow a bit in size and the current Panny will receive a FL to then be axed with no EV replacement.

My confusion is because I see that concept backwards, more like a Sedoupe with SUV pretensions, the Bentley thing is interesting since it currently has nothing that fits, so it will be a completely new crazy model

That car that will be show in June 8th will not be the 911 ST, it will be something else and ST is for start of August.

In a nutshell, the ST will be a GT3 RS Touring. Porsche keeps milking 911 heritage with more derivatives. I don't blame them, the appetite by the market is insatiable as demotivated by the 911 Sport Classic selling out.

They just unleased the 718 GT4 RS

I am just wondering what the hell this 911 ST is supposed to be? Aren't we getting a GT2 RS?

Yep - but the weird thing imho is: The main addition of the GT3 RS over the GT3 is the AERO! The AERO makes the GT3 RS so "much more" capable than the "vanilla" GT3. If now the 911 ST is something like a GT3 RS without the massive AERO ... how does it then really differ from a GT3 Touring?

Still has way more aero going on even without a wing.
