My personal star of the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. For a number of reasons. Porsches' Mission E model line will be epic.

Panamera sales will undoubtedly be cannibalised as I anticipate this car to be better in nearly every way.

However those without access to a charging point a home or long distance travellers, will be better off with a Panamera.

Go for the amethyst metallic, it is a classier color and IMO red never looks good on a large 4/5 door.

I envy you buying one but not watching the monthly payments increase sharply as options are ticked.

Lol just wait for the write up on this order experience. There are some damn good reasons to Porsche having the largest turnover per car. Some things make you want to slap the sales rep or yourself.

Porsche CEO Oliver Blume is targeting some 20K+ in pro-annum unit sales-with production capacity increasing to 30K should demand require the increase.

My prediction:

30K will probably be insufficient (despite a looming trade war with the U.S.). This car will be a major nightmare for the Tesla S (whether there is a trade war or not). The Mission E will be a defining automobile.

Got a mail from Porsche today if I want to be put on a preliminary reservation list. I said yes!

Porsche aims for the car to deliver reproducible and prolonged performance at high speeds.

Another problem I want solved is cold weather range and performance. Range could be reduced by as much as 40% while acceleration and top speed is capped until the battery is warm.
