Concept Porsche Mission X

Unlikely in this form.

The exact same design with (upgraded) 918 V8, RWD, manual and a focus on lightweight instead of electric range would have it sold out in a day or two.
Agree fully, the super rich are not interested in electric hypercars, if they want a fast electric car, they will probably buy a Tesla Model S Plaid for daily use and buy a super special ICE hypercar for a weekend blast. Most times the hypercars will be driven probably a few days a week and keep the kilometers low to preserve the value. An electric hypercar will not be a collectors item.

Is there any stats on the number of cars that Rimac have sold?

The next 992.2 Turbo S will have near hypercar stats, why they would make a slightly faster ICE hypercar. An electric one with lower weight could be more exciting.

We could be looking at 750PS for the next model if it receives a mild hybrid boost and it should be about a 2.4sec 0-100km/h and 7sec to 200km/h which would be in the hyper car sector but still off the pace of the W1 and F80.

GT2 RS will be even faster so it will get close to W1 and F80. But let's see how these two perform on the Ring. 0-100 is not everything.

With their performance bases mostly covered by GT2 RS, I could see Porsche leaning into the analogue allure once again with their next halo car.

Sh!t me Charley, I forgot about the GT2 RS. Yes, you right bud, it's still going to come out and that car will probably be more than 800PS!!! This will probably give the F80 and W1 something to think about even on the racetrack at a fraction of the cost.

I like your notion of this humble "super rich" car guy with a daily car and one hypercar. But I don't think that aligns with reality. I think you will struggle to find an owner of a single hypercar.

For sure a hypercar buyer will not have a single car but a collection of different models whether they are classics (non hypercar) or latest models of sports cars whether hyper or super cars.

The business case for an electric Mission X is poor when Porsche can generate €540,067,968 from a glorious parts bin special like the 911 ST. The world is also better for it because there are fewer NA 1,400kg cars available to buy than there are hypercars.
