The Porsche 992 is the eighth generation of the Porsche 911. Predecessor: Porsche 911 (991). Production: 2018–
It's funny, even without the Harris and Catchpole vids, we have a pretty good idea what it's going to look like since it's 992 based. Nonetheless, this is still one of the more anticipated cars to debut.

Any word on final specifications?
In the TG/CH video, it seems 510hp is the final number, but all will be revealed.......soon.

Until the Top Gear video and first glimpse at the actual production design, I didn't care so much about it. But now, I'm really curious ! The front end part in particular is awesome.

I think he said 10 hp more than the previous? And 1430 kg EU weight with all fluids and stuff.
The weight increase is a little disappointing given the mild power hike. But it looks and sounds great.

The 991.2 GT3 was 1,505kg to EU1 with fluids, driver and luggage. I'm not sure 1,430kg is a weight increase. If it doesn't include the 75kg for driver and luggage then it's the same weight.

Yes this is without driver and luggage. At Porsche Preuninger always states weight with full tank, all the fluids and without driver and luggage.

The Knowledge at the back of Evo says 1413kg for the 991.2 GT3, but then it makes mistakes. 75kg for driver and luggage? That is one light driver.

1413kg is for manual, 1430kg is for PDK. In Evo magazine they state weight as Porsche with full tank and with all fluids. But not the driver and luggage.

I was listening to Matt Farah podcast...and he said that he just drove 5 of Andreas Preuninger favourite's 911 at the track(Porsche Experience Center LA).

(996 GT3 RS, 997 GT3 RS 4.0, 997 GT2 RS, 911 R, 992 GT3). Videos coming soon.

He said the videos and article(Road and Track) are embargoed until December 28th.

F*** me! You are right.

I just listened to it again and he said "the new GT2 RS".
It was late at night so I guess I was tired and heard it wrong. The word "new" tricked me probably

Sorry for misleading you guys. :(

No problem, I had to listen to it again myself cause I thought I missed something. Honest mistake, no harm no foul and so on. Though like yourself I was expecting that he at least drove the prototype or something but maybe that’s still embargoed and he can’t say that he even did.
