The Porsche 992 is the eighth generation of the Porsche 911 sports car, which was introduced at the Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles on 27 November 2018.
I care less about its lap time and more about its looks. Thus far… ugliest 911 ever.
The rear wheel/wheel arch is way too big for the car's proportions. Every time I walk by my neighbour's 911 I'm surprised by how oversized it is. That, in combination with that gargantuan rear wing, and this generation's raised hip/rear end, ruins this car's looks for me.

Interesting bit is, it has a 4.2l engine for the first time (RSR was already 4.2). Which makes me wonder if RS will also get a 4.2 engine. Or maybe they will save that for mk2.

Porsche seem to have confirmed that this gen will stick to the 4L engine. I would not be surprised if we saw a 4.2L in the 992.2 GT3/RS, or if there was a 4.2L special version as with the 997.2 4L RS. The GT3 R using the 4.2L engine certainly makes the possibility more likely and the 992.2 could be the last non-hybrid generation so they might want to do something special to celebrate.
