I like it and hope to see it in person this summer.
I still can't bring myself to love this car... it's hard to explain, but I just can't get used to the idea that this is Ferrari's 'best of the best'. Maybe that will change with time.

Just looking at it, I couldn't think there's anything better at Ferrari right now; perhaps you're referring to the engine.

But even if I disregard the engine, I just can't bring myself to be impressed by the car.

I see it like an F40. Chunky and masculine compared with the Laf which is an odd one out in the flsgshire linage with its feminine and sensual lines.
I see your point; it’s true that it does have a bit of an F40 feel to it… But I’ve always been one of those who prefer the F50 to the F40. As for the F80, I’m sorry, but I just can’t see what you guys find so ‘spectacular’ about it. Maybe with time I’ll come to understand it, just as I did with the Enzo back in the day.

Steering clear of being overly analytical, for me the F80’s “technical” styling applied to a road car is a big factor in its visual appeal. It evokes association with the technical elements we’re seeing on race cars to give the impression that Ferrari have drawn from their success in racing and applied this to their halo car.

Although a little bit softer visually, the F50 was still chunky with a fixed wing and Lemans style design.

The Enzo was wing less. LaF also wingless but visually lighter. That and the SP3 are peak Ferrari: Spoiler-less flagship design and performance AND without tacked on aero bits.
