No it's a normal engine, the hybrid engine was used for the R Hybrid Concept : the powertrain is a combination of the 267bhp 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbo you’ll find in the RCZ R, with two 114bhp electric motors bolted to each axle

Peugeot better hire some plumbers as the 2016 308 GTI has leaked for the second time today.

The latest leak comes courtesy of Auto Expresswhich accidentally posted pictures of the car ahead of time. As a result, we can see the model closely echoes the 308 GT but adopts mesh grille inserts and a sportier rear bumper with an integrated diffuser and two round exhaust tips.

The sporty styling continues in the cabin as there's a flat-bottomed steering wheel, leather and Alcantara sport seats and gloss black trim. Other touches include red contrast stitching and a two-tone gear knob.

As we reported earlier today, the 308 GTI will be powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that has outputs of 250 PS (184 kW) and 330 Nm (244 lb-ft) of torque as well as 270 PS (199 kW) and 330 Nm (244 lb-ft) of torque.

The exterior in particular is very pretty, and the engine is awesome.
270 hp in a car weighing 1260 kg. Very nice.

In sweden its priced the same as the 280 hp Seat Leon. I'll go with the Seat

Guys, there is nothing wrong with the interior nor driving position. They improved a lot over the 208.
I'm just 1,77m high and had no problem with the steering blocking the instruments. Build, materials and finish are very good, much better than Focus, Leon, Megane, etc
The "chrome" actually looks much nicer than the one In the A class

The regular 308 has a bigger wheel compared to the 208, so I guests the same is true for the Gti's

The GTI with 270 hp is even lighter than the 2-seater RCZ-R coupe (same engine)!

What else could one wish for from a FWD hatch?!
