Couldn’t agree more. It has such a solid and clean design, a thing which makes it very premium looking.
Touareg and Cayenne are the best looking SUVs for now. Well done VW.

Replace the GT2 RS with the GT3 Touring and I would completely agree with you.

And replace the Tuareg with a Volvo XC90 and everything would be perfect

The XC90's noisy 4 cylinder engines don't stand a chance against the refined 6 cylinders in the Touareg.

While the 15 inch touch screen is cool, the abolishment of physical, always visible, HVAC controls will be a loss to some.

I'm also surprised by the lack of physical shortcut buttons to Nav, Media, Contacts etc. VAG have them on most cars with touch screen based infotainment.

I must be the only one not liking it so far. This design or rather lack of is acceptable in their super well priced us atlas ( I even find the exterior having more character in that one) but not the Touareg. The interior specialy is all about having two mega screens and that's it. Mehhh

To be honest I'd rather have the standard screen with the separate buttons for the AC and heating functions.

Wow, looks even better than the leaked spy pics from its photo op from a few months ago. Truly the best looking SUV, inside and out, in the VAG empire.

Further replace that XC90 with either a V90 or the upcoming V60 and keep that GT3, then you get my perfect two car garage.

I don't get it how VW is still allowed to sell diesels, regardless how good they might be

I find the interior much better than executed than Audi, though you see the commonalities. What a shame this will not be offered in the US. Would totally be my wife's next car when our Jeep's lease expires.

I still think touch AND trackpad is still the best way like mercedes and bmw
Going full touch and piano black ,everywhere fingerprints is making a good looking interior looks cheap and not intuitive while driving
