7 Series [Official] The New BMW 7 Series

The BMW 7 Series is a full-size top-of-the-line luxury sedan produced by BMW. Officially introduced in 1977, it is the successor to the E3 "New Six" sedan.
It is quite handsome from the rear, but the front still has all the elegance of a Dodge Magnum.

That will change after you see the car in real life. In 3D with the vertical grille.

^ Oh well, at least it's only the MB and Audi fans saying stuff like that....and I wonder why... :D:D

^^ It's not true. A lot of members here are honest. Just because they say they don't like something on the 7er, does not make them a biased MB/Audi-fan!

For me... well, the look of the car is really different from one pic to another. So I really think it will look different IRL, therefore I won't say too much. But I like this car a lot, even if the front seems weak I suspect it will make sense IRL.

Honestly, this is by far (and I mean, by far) the most exciting Beemer since Bangle arrived. :usa7uh: Even the e65, very interesting but not really exciting to look at...
Can't wait to see it and sit in it. This looks like a true Beemer.

Everyone seen the car in real life say it looks better than it does on the photos. I hope I feel the same.

You don't believe ME? :D

The car looks fantastic!
IMO the most formidable & balanced BMW ever - beside E24 635CSi.
Very commanding & sovereign.

It's not a design miracle, but it just look right & good - without being bland, boring, overdone etc. It's zen-like balanced.
BMW designers proved they can design a good-looking & exciting & not- bland-at-all car - without using controversial (clumsy) design details.

Design details may not be THE thing here, but rather the proportions & the general stance is what makes this car so attractive. And the flame-surfacing without any design experiments.

****

Except the people who absolutely hate modern BMW flame-surfacing styling, all the others were blown away with F01/F02 look / stance.

I'm sure almost all E65 / E66 buyers will buy F01 / F02, and there will be many converters from S-class, LS & A8 camp. While E65 scared them away, F01 will bring them back - and this time some newcomers as well!

austrians auto revue(car magazine) titeled - The Comeback of Elegance
and even the greatest(not best) newspaper of the country loved the car in their review

The front fascia of the 7 was hinted long ago in a picture showing the concept CS making process:bowdown:

XDrive is coming along with the 760Li debut + some extra features

X-Drive with 4 wheel steering will make the 7er awsome on the road!
How do you know they will debut together? When will that be?
Thanks!
:t-cheers:
