This is a really good video, I like the way the cameraman pans the shots in good detail for all the exterior and interior parts of the car.
From my observations and personal point of view I noticed the following:
Exterior:
1) Front of this 520i with the lighter coloured grill looks far better than the i5 M trim models with their ugly shiny black plastic grills
2) The front intake should be rather matt black plastic or body colour and not shiny black plastic
3) Side profile is perhaps its best view, due to the fantastic wheel design
4) Front 3/4 its worst angle as the front overhang is huge and made to look longer by the upright and slightly forward slanted grill
5) The rear 3/4 looks good except for the lower black trim which spoils the look of the back bumper.
6) No exhaust extending through bumper and no fake exhausts. Exhaust bent down as in Mercedes models.
Interior:
The interior looks ok, but there is definitely much cost cutting evident throughout the cabin. This 5 series is probably the first modern BM saloon where its really noticeable.
1) Doors - Not much door trim, no wood but has more light colour trim strip matching the door handles. Front and rear door pockets are really small and look to be of hard plastic with no felt lining, but needs to be checked in other videos. The front speaker covering is black while the rear gets a nice gold colour speaker covering. Door top covering has no stitching. Electric window switches and surrounding plastic is all black and not silver like older model.
2) Dash - center console including switch to open central armrest is shiny black piano plastic. I would be curious to know if the lower part of the dash including glove box is hard plastic. Very convenient switch location for glove box on the center console so easy for driver to open. The top of dash has no stitching. The instruments don't have configuration for standard looking round instruments, which is a shame as I am not a big fan of the angled rev counter and speedo/fuel/temp gauges, Graphics on instruments and center screen look impressive. Lower center console looks hard plastic with no stitching.
3) Steering wheel - best looking BMW steering wheel in years. Love the design of the middle spoke. Buttons look to be black shiny plastic but I think are not hashtag BS capacitive buttons like in Mercedes new steering controls. Very convenient but small and fragile look switch to adjust the steering wheel electric rake and reach. Column stalks are black plastic but look quite sturdy and well built.
4) Seats - Electric switches for seats are lower down on the seat and all black plastic and look a little cheap for this class of car. The front seats look very well padded and comfortable with extended front squabs. The headrests are not electric but still have excellent located switch on side of headrest to adjust up and down. Headrest also has classic chrome metal rods and no ugly plastic like in the E-class to join it to the seat top. Rear of front seat has no pull out airplane style pocket for storage for kids but has ugly plastic cover for the USB-C. Rear seats look comfortable even for 3 adults and nicely trimmed. Seat belt buckles in rear seats are nicely recessed inside the squab. The rear central armrest has ugly cheap looking exposed cup holders on the top instead of been hidden under a cover, which should not be expected in a midsize luxury saloon like this.
5) Sunvisors, grab handles - are all hard plastic, but at least above the flap covering the mirrors on each sunvisor have lights. Grab handles have nice spring damping.
