Most of Porsche's mystique is around the 911. Though to be fair, most of their cars are still good. Not sure what they're doing with their interiors these days but the same could be asked of all manufacturers apart from Genesis it seems.

This has got to be a joke. Porsche has ONE model for enthusiasts, and even then that model [the 911] only has a few versions for enthusiasts.
For the rest it's just posh VAG.

Of course, its all about the image, only few people are able to truly drive these cars. A neighbor runs a private school, he drives a base 992 which is still too fast for him. M cars are more popular among people who like to show off with shady businesses.

If you want flawless interior quality you go for Lexus, their upper segment is really premium in fit and finish compared to BMW and Mercedes.

Porsche still offers the best quali from DE IMO, the drama about 911 and Cayenne is about less important details, you can find crappy parts even in a Ferrari not to mention Maserati’s desastrous material choices and Tesla like fittings.

Every car that Porsche makes is undeniably the best to drive in its' class.

Even a base Macan has amazing steering.

That was improved once they got rid of the silly touchpad control. Their infotainment works really nice now and there are a lot of physical buttons
Anyway compared to the ES I prefer the G60’s dash layout, where the Lexus shows clearly its age.

But I doubt the G60’s interior quality will be anything near to the ES.
Also you won’t find here acrylic X-Mass decoration and crystal knobs sticked on shiny plastic, here Lexus understands premium more seriously.
