So what was with that 308 CC lookalike rear bumper in the end?

It looks like two black pieces blocking the view in the foreground, but then neither the regular bumper nor the M Sport bumper are actually body color in that area around the reversing light:

I think the G60 is not that kind of glamorous beauty queen in this round for sure (similar situation to what's happening with the G70) unlike the long standing arch rival: W214. This brings out the conclusion of having a longer time for the public or casual audiences to adjust and get used to it's overall appearance longer than the two predecessors: F10 and G30 which are highly reserved and conservative during their active years.

There are cars that effectively are completely competent in every way that there is virtually no negatives. It what draws the customer back to the brand again and again. In their current forms both the G20 and G30 are in this genre.
Because they do everything well that it’s not wrong to think of them as an appliance.
People are now starting to recognise Electric Mobility as a form of an appliance that one generation in the future will be taught about one of man’s greatest achievements from the history tablets. Or who knows? Maybe the combustion engine will make a comeback once the nefarious reasoning is finally questioned?

I wonder what went through the developer's minds when they were adding these games to the OS.

Most likely in the vein of "Tesla has games so add them at all costs".

Really BMW, adding ripoff games of the lowest possible quality is not going to sway people over. No game ever will in fact. Cars and games are separate things. Not to mention these controllers! Phones? Ugggh you can't make this up and as a gamer I almost feel offended. What was that 'game' we saw even supposed to be? A Mario Kart clone? Get real!

I don’t get the concept of “gaming” in your car. It’s like something somebody dreamt up back in the 90’s put on the maybe pile and now decides it’s a great idea.

Less interior headroom due to the batteries, slightly longer overhang on both sides, but also a wheelbase increase.
Overall very similar but still slightly disappointing. The added overhang will be visually noticeable, as we're talking about a few centimeters, not millimeters.

I like the exterior, but interior is disappointing for me, its like opel astra. Interior quality of past generation 5 series was close to 7 series but now gap between is large

Why does the car look amazing in this video? I don't mind the front but the rear is a slam dunk IMO. The tail light design and graphics are the most aspirational ones that I have seen on a car in a long while:

It's probably one of the most familiar scheme for tail light graphics. Thinks Merc and Volvo's of the 90s.

We will have to try it, there is no indication of that, sit down and play, all this is born from a couple of photos of the CGI configurator in the most basic spec and in a monochrome tone, when I sit on it, I will comment on it, I am not saying no, but it has the benefit of the doubt due to the exceptional quality shown so far by the brand in all its models
