such a poor attempt at Maybach competitor. if the A8 was at least based on Flying Spur. but at this point luxury ICEVs are dead, new Range Rover is the last of its kind. only ICEV Toyota Corollas and Toyota Hiluxes have some future left.

Not a farewell edition at all. It's for the Chinese market only, it's stretched in 130 mm and it's powered by the 3.0 turbo.

The current A8 is such a fail. This FL makes it even worse looking.

It's really a matter of taste. I like the A8 D5 very much, both as a pre-facelift and now with the changed headlights, i.e. as a facelift.

To be honest I'm a bit suprised by the hate it gets.... I think it actually looks quite good. Pre facelift D5 A8 always lacked something at the front and huge front overhang was very noticeable... but now looks a lot better.. and it has interesting wheel design.
I wonder if it's also going to Europe with the W12.
This angle IMO looks especially nice.

For what it is, it serves its purpose. Like many have stated, I, too, don't care for the F/L changes; the design is still rather uninspiring.

It’s good.. always had a soft spot for this luxo barge!! Very nice..hopefully this will be available in dual tone… also we now need a 7er competitor around the $200K mark, some there is a lot of space between the current 7er and the Ghost in terms of $$$$
