One of the South-Africans residing in the UAE told me on my visit that he was parked in the parking area outside a Carrefour store and let his Denali Yukon idle with the aircon on (as everybody do in the UAE summer) he met up with friends in the Mall and forgot about the idling parked car. When he eventually got back to the car the FULL fuel tank ran empty!

....with low gas prices from ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Corp) it's all too possible

If that was a Toyota landcruiser, it would be very likely to end up in IRAQ in situations like that Never leave an SUV running in UAE

25% better is a huge jump. If I compare my consumption 16.9 l/100 km minus 25 % it gives me 12.6 l/100 km. That is same as my wife's 335i convertible.

Haha... yeah, 25% is the figure BMW/M has stated. So of course that's F10 optimal vs. E60 worst-case.

But then again two less cylinders, some efficient-dynamics tech'... maybe a more tamed throttle setting..and who knows, you could achieve something noticeable in efficiency.

But yes, I think your wife would win if the two of you stage a Top Gear-esque fuel-economy competition.

If true, this is a very good new for the next M3 F32. In this way my speculation of 1550 kg (DIN) for the M3 F32 may be right.
