In this image it is clearly understood what is the presence beyond the usual in any car, the "post opulence" is quite opulent .....
A modern beauty only as Rolls can.

I like the wheels and this particular exterior spec of black. The bright blue interior though is a bit much for me.

I read a very interesting post on another site:

Also...It is funny that RR now has to appeal to the Bentley crowd.
This aesthetic would never have come to fruition before the Sister companies were split.
Rolls Royce offered opulence and luxury, Bentley provided sportiness and mild aggression.
Here we have yet another peculiar attempt at both.

Wow that spec is really nice, I didn’t think I would prefer such a monochrome appearance, but I do

The world is always changing. Who would have thought,10 years ago, that a pair of sneakers could cost 2-5 times more than a pair of Italian leather Brogues.

I think, simply claiming that Rolls-Royce are simply trying to appeal to the Bentley crowd now misses the point quite a lot. Rolls-Royce's evolution under BMW has helped to differentiate it from Bentley's faux-old-money style look, and move it on from it's own old-money roots. Whilst conventional logic is that Rolls-Royce was luxury, and Bentley was performance, in reality since Rolls-Royce was taken over by BMW it has had to move to attract younger buyers for the future in a changing world, irrespective of what Bentley were doing - that's the reason for this 'aesthetic'. Rolls-Royce's typical aesthetic would never have come to fruition either under VW, it would have been more badge engineering.

Looking at the final cars made as Rolls-Royce & Bentley Motor Cars...

And looking at their latest offerings.

I think they've both done a pretty good job of defining their own identities.

Her Majesty prefers a suitable, understated, elegantly timeless garderobe. She looks silly wearing MC Hammers trousers.

That doesn’t have anything to do with what he was saying. It was about style and what not, not price.
