Wow, it must be the best photo so far with that rain, what a beautiful car, it looks really stunning, the design does not stop revealing new and modern things with each new look, pure sophistication very pleasant to the eyes.

Gentlemen,

As mentioned in another well known controversial thread, and from now one, if there is any intent to start attacking each other where things will go off topic and offensive, every participating member in that discussion will be immediately and permanently thread banned without further notice, and there are no exceptions.

I'll remove the off topic discussion from this thread, and I will consider that everyone has been informed by now.

We've been saying to take it easy and to stay cool multiple times, but almost no one was listening, so, sadly, it has to be done this way.

I am pleased to say that just like Cullinan Black Badge, Ghost Black Badge does not suffer from the same “wheels look too small in the arches” heavy body syndrome as the standard Ghost.

That's the extended wheelbase version, the black badge version will probably come out in a year ;)

Guys, chill out.
There are much worse things in life, like the text of this song for example:

It’s like they added mass for the sake of adding it. It does nothing to enhance the look and actually makes the car look bulky and ungainly. Hopefully the lifespan is shorter than 10 years or they clean it up with the facelift.

Agree with this.
I have found a couple changes that look rather funny compared to the previous Ghost and to me, just does not work well visually.

The C-pillar in my view-point, holds the entire design together. Mess with that too much and it will spin the design off a bit.
The C-Pillar shape of the new Ghost is joined together with the boot at an inclined fashion compared to the previous one (3-box shape), though the mass of the C-Pillar is the same it appears, the designers added a larger chrome strip.
These elements add a bit too much visual weight to the C-Pillar and the entire car imo.

The shorter rear doors on the new one seems to be a design clash with the rake of the C-Pillar and boot area, looks ungainly.

Bingo! The old one was far better proportioned IMO and it’s precisely because of the bulky pregnant dog look that happens at the B-pillar to the end of the car. The Gen 1 looks sleek and far elegant by comparison and now I’m happy I don’t feel pressured to “upgrade” to this Ghost. Thanks for this detailed analysis!

Please take note of the thread created here for more comparative discussion of Ghost vs S-Class. Fanboys'ngirls can have it out here:

Let's keep the "my car is better than your car" stuff out of this thread.
