The rims are an update on the current Black Badge with Carbon inserts. They filled out the arches better in height and width.
The car was All Black.

Thank you very much SCOTT27, larger wheels will certainly make the car look better.

What other news could you observer regarding the models that we have seen, by the way, no two tones so far.

Hello 275, With a little imagination, could be close to the next Cullinan.
Or the sportier and "small" SUV (under the Cullinam) that is surely the next model in the line, something like X5 / X6 and as you indicate it will have a lot to do with the Ghost

  • First Ghost and Ghost Extended motor cars arrive in UK showrooms
London’s Shard served as inspiration for Ghost’s ‘Post Opulent’ design philosophy
  • First UK customer deliveries to take place from December 2020

“From the creation of the first Goodwood Ghost in 2009, this less formal, more dynamic expression of the marque has drawn an entirely new generation of British entrepreneurs to Rolls-Royce. We are proud to bring them the most technologically advanced Rolls-Royce yet. Ghost will continue to underpin the marque’s success in its home market by standing as the ultimate reward for the men and women who drive Britain's vibrant culture of entrepreneurship.”

Julian Jenkins, Regional Director, UK, Europe, Russia and Central Asia

The first New Rolls-Royce Ghosts have arrived in UK showrooms following a highly successful home-market debut.

After final inspection at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England, the motor cars were dispatched to the marque’s eight home-market dealerships; Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Essex, London, Leeds and Sunningdale.

New Ghost is the result of exhaustive dialogue with the marque’s customers. Many demanded a car that rejected unnecessary branding, affectation or obtrusive technology. In response to this, the marque’s designers immersed themselves in spaces that reflected a minimalist approach to statement design.

London played a particularly important role in defining the new Ghost’s design direction. The capital’s landmark Shard building informed the reductive approach to aesthetic form that came to be internally known as ‘Post Opulence’. Designed by Pritzker Architecture Prize winning architect Renzo Piano, the building is widely praised for its monolithic yet simple forms delivered by highly complex engineering processes. This echoes Ghost’s design and development process, where the client requirement for simplicity was delivered through cutting-edge engineering and manufacturing techniques.

First customer deliveries for Ghost and Ghost Extended will commence in Q4 2020.

ROLLS-ROYCE WELCOMES NEW ‘CLASS OF 2020’ APPRENTICES TO GOODWOOD
26.10.2020 Press Release

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has welcomed 18 new Apprentices – the ‘Class of 2020’ – to the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood, West Sussex. Drawn from a wide variety of backgrounds and from across the UK, the new Apprentices are the latest group to join the programme since its launch in 2006.

  • New intake of Apprentices welcomed to the Home of Rolls-Royce
  • Record number of participants in the Sir Ralph Robins Degree Apprenticeships scheme
  • Now in its 15th year, the programme has trained more than 150 young people since 2006
  • Represents a vital contribution to skills training and technical education in the UK manufacturing sector

“Welcoming our new Apprentices to Goodwood is a real annual highlight. These young people have come through a selection process in which they’ve already shown great potential and promise; it’s tremendously exciting to watch them grow and flourish, and become the bright, capable, talented people that our company – and the country – needs in order to succeed in the future. We’ve worked incredibly hard, both within our business and with our partner institutions, to ensure their Apprenticeship experience will be as rich, diverse, fulfilling and transformational as it’s been for every other cohort since 2006.

“The Class of 2020 join us in highly unusual circumstances. We are immensely proud that we’ve been able to run our programme at a time when so many companies are curtailing similar activities, and when educational establishments across the UK face huge challenges. We have made many necessary changes to our business practices in response to the pandemic, but maintaining the Apprenticeship scheme has always been a priority.”

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

Hopefully they won’t ruin the next Wraith and Dawn too. Please not the Dawn.

Somehow, the towering front and rear wing crests annoy me. They remotely evoke a strange GMC Yukon/Cadillac Escalade vibe.

Very well explained why things are done the way they are done and how it affects what is not seen or not felt and is what makes the meaning of the car itself, the engineering in this brand is handled very differently from others.

Access to the rear compartment at 7'30" seems ever so slightly constricted and Henry is no beer-belly. Perhaps it's just the camera angle, but it does seem like the rear doors are shorter on this generation.
