Ghost [Official] Rolls-Royce Ghost (2021-)

The Rolls-Royce Ghost is a full-sized luxury car manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. The "Ghost" nameplate, is named in honour of the Silver Ghost, a car first produced in 1906. The production model was officially unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Ghost Extended Wheelbase was introduced in 2011. During development, the Ghost was known as the "RR04". It was designed as a smaller, "more measured, more realistic car" than the Phantom, aiming for a lower price category for Rolls-Royce models.
Car looks goofy and unbalanced from the side and in some of the moving footage the wheels look pushed in closer to the front and rear doors than the previous model, almost making it look like a FWD car. Then in the side shots in a darker color is looks different again. The old car looked better exterior wise.

It looks okay in this 2 tone dark brown with gold roof but I totally agree with you, the rear looks off somehow, I think its the rear doors, they are too small somehow and even smaller than the front doors which looks odd for such a large car.

Is Rolls throwing the piss at Bentley with the rear light graphics? It looks like a B shape....lmaoff!

Has nothing to do with me.

I get what you are saying, the new one looks more bloated (not the right word) from the A pillar onwards. But it suits the character, and really it'll likely look better in some proper real life shots. These press shots are all CGI.

That is quite perceived in that last video (more real), especially in person it seems that it will be more shocking in every way, I don't know if better or worse than the previous one, which is beautiful, but definitely more shocking.

I do not know if it is obvious but it is clear that both the Phantom 8 and this new Ghost inspired its roof drop and the tail in this model

I've seen it in videos now, outside of a studio and it looks worse.

True, but don’t you agree that big imposing cars ‘usually’ look better in person?? They kind of ‘get away’ with an uninspiring design just due their sheer size and presence

No, not really. Above all it has to be good looking. There are plenty of imposing, but unattractive people if you will lol. The Phantom is extremely imposing, but it's also at it's core a good looking car despite it's gargantuan dimensions.

Tired of hearing this marketing bs about how clients wanted "less".
Also, less road presence? I don't believe for a second any Ghost owner asked for that.

I completely agree with you "275others", you remind me when they introduced Cullinan, that supposedly customers had asked for more utility than design.

Today, Rolls Royce customers in much of the world tend to be people who are only interested in having the thing bear the Rolls Royce emblems.

Someone who buys a car for its essence, would not pay what a Rolls Royce costs.

It is a lying strategy for sell an article that is over priced by itself lacks the qualities that justify its value.

If something has, it is indisputably greater road presence than the previous one
