I feel exactly the same way. It's either a vanity purchase or aimed at buyers with a really niche set of requirements. If I wanted a manual + RWD, I'd go NA and hence GT3.What it comes down to is that this is a RWD, manual Turbo... with less power and costing 30% more. You can also get a GTS with a manual and although that has less power, it's lighter so the performance won't be too different - and that's half the price of this. This very clearly seems to be a collector model only.
That's a good analysis.I don't think I could ever drive a car with a huge number on its side... The interior is nice, though.

"Very special", but you can get that combination with the Carrera, Carrera S and the GTS.You talk as if a Turbo engine + RWD + manual gearbox is something ordinary.
lulz
This is very special indeed.
No performance data as far as I could read on Porsche's Press Release (only fuel consumptionDid I read right somewhere that 0-100 km/h is 4.1 seconds?

GT3 Touring with manual gearbox for comparison:0 - 100: 4,1s

0 - 200: 12,0s
Top Speed: 315 km/h
Weight: 1,570 kg
Price: 276.284 Euro
GTS and Turbo's suspension i.e. struts up front and no double wishbones. Same 7 speed gearbox as for the cooking 911s and not the bespoke 6 speed as per GT3.I am kinda likening the SC to a Touring version of what a the GT2 RS will be. For those who want the big-engined Turbo but with a good dose more refinement, your limited-edition ride has arrived.
Did they adopt the GT3's front suspension or are they sticking with the Macpherson struts up front?
