1250 buyers about to be duped into the most underwhelming, overpriced and pointless 911 ever. You can get a 992 GTS and a 718 GT4 for the same money. A base 992 Carrera PDK is faster. All this thing is, is a deposit-taker over the regular cars that Porsche can’t make to sell.
It’s a niche model. A manual 911 GTS on steroids for people who want a limited edition Porsche that’s not track biased. It’s Engaging but without bucket seats, roll cage or high NVH. However I agree that the price is rather high.1250 buyers about to be duped into the most underwhelming, overpriced and pointless 911 ever. You can get a 992 GTS and a 718 GT4 for the same money. This would have been good choice if it was normally priced and available, but for 300k + markup, it becomes a wanna be collector thing and there are way better 911s to collect..

Carwow did 4.1 0-60 or smth like that. Looks like it is slower than the Gts/Carrera S. That's strange.
AutoBild Sportscars measured 4.0 s with the Sport Classic and 3.9 s 0-100kph with the Carrera S manual...Carwow did 4.1 0-60 or smth like that. Looks like it is slower than the Gts/Carrera S. That's strange.
I've come to realise - even in my circle of friends - that for some, the 718 isn't a "proper" Porsche and that it's 911 or bust. [As misguided and misinformed as that notion may be.]If you need decent storage space then it’s a good two seater to consider or else I am not convinced that it’s a more fun sports car than the 30% cheaper 718 GTS that has a naturally aspirated engine and the same acceleration figure.
Actually. For some the 911 feels more big league sports car. Amongst a Vantage, 296 or Hurecan, a 911 T in a bold spec will fit in while a 718 GTS will look like a small sports car.I've come to realise - even in my circle of friends - that for some, the 718 isn't a "proper" Porsche and that it's 911 or bust. So, for those people, looking for a "purer" entry-level 911 experience, the 911 T ticks the boxes.
