PCCB is an expensive option on a 718 - albeit a Spyder or GT4. If I was buying a GT4 with lots of track time in mind, I might consider the carbon ceramics.

The general consensus is actually the opposite - if you do considerable track time, get irons. Cause PCCB, while it will outlast iron brakes on the track, will still need to be replaced and that costs ~$20k+!

Having said that and having had Porsches with both, I will probably never get irons again - PCCB has a much better initial bite and the best part, no brake dust.

Haven't driven PCCB but I'm sure aftermarket pads could improve bite on iron rotors.

Do you have less brake dust on your alloys?

^Yes, with ceramics almost none. OTOH, Porsche pads that come with irons are horrible when it comes to amount of brake dust they give out.

It's so gorgeous they I would spec it with front and rear cameras but without parking sensors.

1.Do you intent to replace the Panamera with it, or you need it as a fun car?
2. Wha...
I’m gonna replace the panamera as I’ve put down interest for the G class electric.
I intend to keep the G and the spyder.

I dropped the reservation on the taycan as something about it didn’t sit right with me design wise and I can’t go ahead with a purchase if it doesent feel 100%.

but I’m still not convinced about the spyder either.. I’m thinking 992 GT3
I’m thinking wait for pdk.
I’m thinking air cooled 911..
Even thinking Ferrari FF

many options .. I feel conflicted

Buy Spyder, sell it in two years and buy GT3 then. You won't lose much money on Spyder. GT derived cars from Porsche hold the prices very good.
