Official Thread [Official] Peugeot 508 II

Spending too much time in the catacombs below Paris perhaps?

There's so much Audi DNA in there and hints of MB DNA too. What happened to 'French' design?
This car looks nothing like any Audi, it makes the A4 look bland and unexciting and suddenly looking very dated. It's probably the best looking car in this class (non premium medium size saloons)

That's one sexy mofo, what a difference with the last generation, they should come to NA as an alternative to Alfa.

The sedan looks better, but damn that's a strikingly good looking affordable french wagon!

Good job, Peugeot! Good job!

All they need to do now is contact Volvo for the perfect FWD proportions and we truly have a beautiful car.....
Brands like Peugeot who can't get their proportions right will benefit so much from electric drivetrains...

What a lovely sedan. I was in France at the end of May this year, and I saw a black 508, I quickly recognized it. Unfortunately, I was in the taxi cab ,so I could not get passed by to see the front. PSA should bring this car to the U.S soon.

But does the 508 even come with a V6 engine? Do Peugeot even have one now? And if it doesn't come with a V6, I don't understand why it couldn't have Volvo's proportions...

I mean, a wheel at around the level of the A pillar is just so ugly....

The 508 has received a whole heap of positive reviews so far from the motoring press. Most of the reviews have said positive things about the looks and practicality of the hatch, the driving dynamics and mostly the interior they say is a match for premium cars. One review I read they mentioned the interior been a match for the 4-series GC.

Peugeot

Peugeot is a French brand of automobiles owned by Stellantis. Founded in 1810, Peugeot is regarded as the oldest car company in the world. On 20 November 1858, Émile Peugeot applied for the lion trademark. Armand Peugeot (1849-1915) built the company's first car steam tricycle. They joined forces with Léon Serpollet in 1886; this was followed in 1890 by an internal combustion car with a Panhard-Daimler engine.
