I found these pics from Pagani production line of the Carbo Titanium fiber and panel assembly. Some of the carbon work on these cars is fantasitc. I've seen lots of 'proper' carbon fibre race car parts, and the carbon work is nowhere near as neat or consistent, or highly polished. I can only assume that it simply takes a lot longer to form the parts when they have to be visually perfect - no inconsistencies in the lay up, no creases, no waves. I'd guess the moulds also have to be highly polished to a certain standard in order for the resin to be as smooth as possible when it comes out.
I suppose it's a bit like having exposed welds, they have to be 'better' than welds that people don't see, even if functionally they're equal.
People should put more respect on Horacio Pagani‘s name.
It’s not a Mercedes engine per se. It’s a race engine made by HWA.People should put more respect on Horacio Pagani‘s name.
What he has achieved with the V12 Mercedes is nothing short of extraordinary. This summer I got to hear the Huyra R at Goodwood festival of speed. In terms of the most musicality and pitch, it’s only second to the wolf howl of s V10 F1 car. The Ferrari FXX, Lemans, Nascar or loud drifts can‘t even be considered runner ups.
At Goodwood watched people‘s faces as the car flew past and their facial expressions were tingling through their skull and shoulder.
Listen for yourselves. A car can only sound like this if created by a man who accept nothing but perfection. I can’t wait to hear the Utopia R.
