These E class are just amazing cars absolutely love them if I bought a sedan I would get one but here in SA I think suv are better with our roads

The amount of potholes on our roads in South Africa is atrocious and a big safety risk to anyone driving a non SUV. Since coming home and driving my E class it's become extremely difficult to drive around and have to dodge potholes wherever i drive. The cost of my tyres and how many I replaced over the last 2 years due to punctures makes me think that maybe in the near future I would have to buy a SUV and drive the E class only on good roads long distance.

I sold my a35 mainly due to this I had to replace two tyres in two weeks and those are not cheap

Hence replaced it with the GLE which I must say I love

Get a GLE or a GLC with the smallest rims, and the potholes won’t bother you.

Lovely cars.

It always strikes me as odd to hear and read that a powerful country like England has such "destroyed" roads, they've become almost famous for it and that no one improves them over the years.

The E53 is a damn sexy large sports saloon. Love how the wheels fit perfectly in those wheel arches.

The W214 is, IMHO, the most eye-appealing "traditional" M-B 2 1/2-box sedan. Perfect dimensions for an E-segment sedan. It makes the S-Class rather superfluous for the very most here in Germany. I'm a bit surprised that the sales response hasn't been as overwhelming as initially predicted. Markets can be fickle.

The upcoming MB.EA E-Class EQ sedan has a very tough act to follow in terms of aesthetics.

The EU version is too quiet though.

I saw one a few weeks ago he drove the car at full chat, it really accelerated very fast but the engine was very muted.
