All you're doing is pointing out exceptions to the rule. I prefer to focus on the typical way things are done in the car biz. M-B has failed miserably here. There's no getting around that simple fact. But feel free to keep trying to normalize this mess.So no Mercedes has not said this = you don't know what you're talking about. YES it is. The new 2024 Lexus GX550 is arriving in SPRING of 2024. Is that also an "egregious corporate failure"? The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser is showing up at dealers in SPRING of 2024. Need more examples? There have been many cars that come out in the spring of the model year they're introduced for. Mercedes has had spring introductions before. Are you kidding or just that uninformed? The entire industry hasn't been on a typical model year introduction with many cars for years. Where have you been? You don't know what you're talking about point blank. I'm not defending anyone, I'm just pointing out that what you're saying is sheer BS. There is no "corporate malfeasance", that's just stupid man. It's a late car introduction, not lying about the effects of cigarettes or opioids. A failure by Mercedes is the switch to a 4-cylinder to replace both a V6 and V8. That is a real failure that is causing discounts in their home market to gin up some interest in the car. No one but you and other other person are hollering about a failure for a car going sale a few months later than planned in one market.
