Point?? .....it's a Ferrari for heaven's sake, it doesn't need to have anything so mundane as a 'point' :D;)

Lol:D,well AFAIK Ferrari themselves aid they need to increase profit and sales to stay this strong,so they decided to go a bit downmarket just like Porsche when they introduced the Cayenne to help increase sales and profit so they can focus on their core cars. And in todays financial circumstances nobody can blame them IMO.

^ yeah, but would you say this model is in a similar category to the old Pininfarina-designed Mondial?

For me this car looks like a REAL GT so smooth so soft and not the typical Ferrari "Racing".
But will this also mean that this car is more of a contender to the Boxter type of cars ?
a car for the "POOR" or will it be so special than only the hard knocked fans will buy it? - 130.000 Euros. (1 Euro = 1.5404 U.S. dollars)

It's not going to cost 130k euro. Price will be more close to 160-180k similar to the F430. It's not an entry model but rather an alternative to the F430 which will be replaced within 1.5 years.

After some thought, if the California is indeed based loosely on the Granturismo, I think the Grant is a far better executed design.

^whoa with the hard top the rear and the profile is STUNNING
