Looks really good from this angle, also like the color choice as well.
I have a serious question though. While some (or very small amount of people) like this design (including myself), I really wonder what are the other problems people are having with it. Other than the controversial split lights and maybe the big grille, it’s a very stately looking—premium sedan. What would you guys change about the design so that it would look more pleasant? Smaller grille? Getting rid of the split headlights? Just curious.

I would completely redesign the front and rear ends personally. The rear isn't that bad, but I'm not overly fond of it. The front though.... Yeah no, it looks too much like it's trying to make a statement. Shrink the grille and unsplit the headlights .

The shape of the car is pretty much perfect for what it is.

It looks like a huge block of metal. Would never go for a large sedan over an SUV if it looked like this.

A sedan these days has to transmit a certain lightness and spirit that this G70 lacks. A pitty, cause other 7 Series certainly had it in the past.

The other day I saw a G11 and an i7 side by side and the i7 made the G11 look like a 5er. Not only it’s big but also very tall.

to me this generation of the 7er looks very good inside and out and has big presence on the road and if you compare it side by side with the s class it feels that the 7er is one class above the s class !!

You guys are still pushing the presence thing lol. An elephant or rhinoceros has presence too. Yet there is no talk about presence with the iX3 or Skytop. I guess beauty has no “presence”. Hilarious. It’s gotta be tiring to keep telling yourself that about presence.

There’s nothing hilarious to begin with. Maybe you need to accept that some people can have totally different preferences, lol. There’s no need for people to talk about “presence” of an iX3 or a Skytop cause they’re simply on a different league. I’ve never heard of someone wanting their electric crossover to look “stately” or for it to have a “presence”. This applies to Skytop, or any other convertible you can think of. 7er is a full-size sedan, a segment where they’re usually associated with presence, prestige, and even status segment to a certain degree. People are not paying €150-200k for a car just to blend in with the crowd. It’s their way of saying “I’ve made it” even if it’s knowingly or not. So, while 7er lacks in the beauty department (but then again, according to who?) it has all the other boxes checked. And yes, it’s a VERY stately looking car with HUGE presence!
