So with all the bells and whistles (no m-sport), the i7 costs CHF 230'890 which is 243'055 in us-dollars. Madness! Add the m-sport und two tone colour and it will rise up to nearly 260k.

So , the battery size is around 101kWh

But how is that? 19.4 kWh , 600km range... My math is wrong ?

Financial suicide, I’ve always said that the ones that buy a top tier 7er really do possess f#ck you money!

Guess the EQS is not doing that bad.

btw i hate the rear door screen controls. For older people it’s just a mess , finding the icons and fiddling around. And it looks like they are fixed in the door , or can you take the screens off ?
That would help

When considering the "private ownership" characteristics associated with this type of automobile, "financial prudence" will most certainly not be found in that particular catalogue. And despite some quite elegant design elements, the new 7er is an embodiment of theatrical hedonism simply by the "virtue" of its' excessive girth. In most environments, this type of automobile is about as superfluous as a goiter.

No. IMO it’s better. Plus I love that Mercedes actually made something different instead just an electric S-Class. But if the electric beaver does it for you then I’m happy for you.
An electric beaver does nothing for me.

But you on the other hand seem to have a fascination for them because you posted the pic.

Moleratsedan 7, XXLmolerat 7 and Molerat IX. This is confirmation for me that BMW has completely lost the plot in the design department.

Even the hardcorest BMW fanboys have trouble defending this, because its simply not possible to defend. Its the bottom of a garbage bin in terms of design and looks.
Y'all laugh at Lexus, Toyota, Hyundai and Kia. But those guys actually produce better looking and cohesive cars today than your favorite "premium" brand. That's a fact, not even a subjective opinion
So by your logic people that like this car are defending it.

That's some fukked up logic.

"as superfluous as a goite" thanks, finally know how to say "so überflüssig wie ein Kropf" in english. :ROFLMAO:

Saw the EQS many times around in zurich now. It is, at least for me, by far the ugliest car mercedes offers this days. I still don't get it. The concept car was such a looker.

Not even the "monkey" wants to change anything, the first time he is totally satisfied and excited with something

Solely focusing on the new 7ers' surfacing and the partitioning of its' silhouette, there is indeed very little to fault.

The claimed energy consumption includes charging losses. The real consumption is around 16.6kWh and the rest are due to inefficiencies during the charging process. This is true for all BEVs.

One thing this 7er isn’t is elegant hahahah it’s a truck faced box.

anyway I must say I like the door handle solution better than the Mercedes’ one.

elegant, powerful and stylish.

Simply a suggestion:

Maybe you'd (yes, YOU) would be better served posting these sorts of contributions on the W/V223 thread. Otherwise, you're either conscienciously seeking to agitate...or...cruising for a serious rhetorical bruising by incorrigible BMW fans. In addition, it's not a very compelling method of "promotion".

But I agree that the W223 is a beautiful automobile. I'd (as well as others, I suspect) simply rather enjoy looking at it in more dedicated threads. We'll soon see an interesting comparo thread as well, I'm sure...
