new XJ canceled
I know, that's why he said that he would have liked to see it, and that at this point in time they would have already presented it if they had not canceled it

It would have been interesting because in the prototypes it can be seen that it would be a quite radical change
Perhaps he could have joined the fight with the Germans

Why did they cancel it? btw looks very different to the predecessor, pretty big and bulgy like the 7-er i could say

At first glance, these larger 22" rims obviously better fill up the wheel wells visually. However, as already commented on earlier, one peculiar side effect is that the tire sidewalls are becoming so slim here that they look slimmer in fact than those wheelarch brims that are sculpted into the body and circle around the tires, while normally the tires are thicker than the wheelarch surrounds. These flat circular brims already are extremely fat to begin with and the contrast only gets worse with thinner tires, giving off a weird feeling of skinny shod wheels recoiling and recessing inwards into the wheel wells, instead of bulging slightly outwards as ideal design principles would dictate.

I'm aware that EU regulation prevents wheels from actually protruding farther out than the wheelarch plane, but that's beside the point since there are ways to get around that with clever fender and wheelarch sculpting that organically pushes the wheels outwards into a sporty stance -- somehow these big fat wheelarch brims seem to have the opposite effect and these massive 22" wheels almost look puny by comparison.
I am curious if BMW is going to provide the 22 inch M alloy wheels as the options for the customers to select on a general website/online configuration? Specifically, on the M Performance variants like M760e xDrive and i7 M70 xDrive.

Very few Jaguar sales overall, lack of capital for development and transition, among other factors

A lot of features are centralised especially in the rear door control screens and indeed in iDrive.

The pillows are here illustrated in Cashmere.
But what happened to the front seats? Are the upper seat back adjustment tilt gone? Thigh support gone? The foldable pillow on the front seats?

You know some members hate the criticism ....

Only hostile stuff is all the MB fanboys trolling this forum. Like you, available non stop to agree and like all the negative comments. That's trolling, my man.

Cost cutting obviously. Just accept it and move on. It's the name of the game in every single industry bar NONE.

He spoke about your reactions to all negative comments which you either like or agree with, he didn't say anything about your comments.

I've learned from my "mistakes" from past. Just ignore them. Not even worth quoting them

It's impossible to argue with them.

When you give them arguments that they are stupid , they act like nothing happens ( quoted texts , etc ) .

They just can't stand saying something negative about their beloved brand.

And they keep calling X Y Z "fanboys" , even if those users change car brands by normal basis. Just because they don't own and like a BMW

What's most interesting about this topic in particular , is that some of them , where DEAD SILENT in the first pages , because the avalanche of negative feedback regarding 7er was just too big to call every each and one of them "fanboys"

PS , before some moron around here calls me "troll" or something : I really like the new 7er.
The only things I don't like are :
1. price point
2. all screens inside (especially those rear door touch screens ; laggy as a 2008 Android device )

So if a person comments and i like or dislike their comment am i trolling ?

I don't see how i am trolling this thread or any other thread on this forum.

The options if the reactions are their for us to liek dilike or whatever we choose reagrding a persons post.

I have posted i think once saying i dont like the design of the front and Rear ? And i have reacted to posts of comments i agree with so i really don't see myself trolling this or any thread.

If he feels or anyone feels i am trolling report my post or Pm me i am fine to discus.

Just because i react to a persons post that he doesn't like doesnt make me a troll.

Go have a look at his repsoenses in Mercedes threads thats more trolling

Anyways of the mods feel i am trolling please mods let me know i will stop posting.

I come here to enjoy my free time and see updates on cars.

I dont appreciate being called a troll when i have been here for years and have never done that.

As for Klier we all have seen some of the things he posts In MB threads

Anyways ill stop posting if its a issue.

I love seeing how the naysayers support each other, (no offense), and the messages between the lines disqualifying the car while defending themselves are priceless

Anyway good gallery from bmwblog thanks to the light of the opportune moment of the day, the dew of the afternoon and the environment (many more photos there)

The Jaguar XJ seems like a missed opportunity especially when you see what was done with the Range Rover. The teaser shot showed at least a similar sophistication and you can’t really tell from Spy shots as the car was in a bulky camouflaged suit. I wonder if one day there will be an eventual leak of what was to come?
