It would have been interesting because in the prototypes it can be seen that it would be a quite radical change
Perhaps he could have joined the fight with the Germans
I am curious if BMW is going to provide the 22 inch M alloy wheels as the options for the customers to select on a general website/online configuration? Specifically, on the M Performance variants like M760e xDrive and i7 M70 xDrive.![]()
At first glance, these larger 22" rims obviously better fill up the wheel wells visually. However, as already commented on earlier, one peculiar side effect is that the tire sidewalls are becoming so slim here that they look slimmer in fact than those wheelarch brims that are sculpted into the body and circle around the tires, while normally the tires are thicker than the wheelarch surrounds. These flat circular brims already are extremely fat to begin with and the contrast only gets worse with thinner tires, giving off a weird feeling of skinny shod wheels recoiling and recessing inwards into the wheel wells, instead of bulging slightly outwards as ideal design principles would dictate.
I'm aware that EU regulation prevents wheels from actually protruding farther out than the wheelarch plane, but that's beside the point since there are ways to get around that with clever fender and wheelarch sculpting that organically pushes the wheels outwards into a sporty stance -- somehow these big fat wheelarch brims seem to have the opposite effect and these massive 22" wheels almost look puny by comparison.
Very few Jaguar sales overall, lack of capital for development and transition, among other factorsWhy did they cancel it? btw looks very different to the predecessor, pretty big and bulgy like the 7-er i could say
But what happened to the front seats? Are the upper seat back adjustment tilt gone? Thigh support gone? The foldable pillow on the front seats?A lot of features are centralised especially in the rear door control screens and indeed in iDrive.
The pillows are here illustrated in Cashmere.
You know some members hate the criticism ....

Only hostile stuff is all the MB fanboys trolling this forum. Like you, available non stop to agree and like all the negative comments. That's trolling, my man.
Cost cutting obviously. Just accept it and move on. It's the name of the game in every single industry bar NONE.

I've learned from my "mistakes" from past. Just ignore them. Not even worth quoting themYou know some members hate the criticism ....
He spoke about your reactions to all negative comments which you either like or agree with, he didn't say anything about your comments.
The Jaguar XJ seems like a missed opportunity especially when you see what was done with the Range Rover. The teaser shot showed at least a similar sophistication and you can’t really tell from Spy shots as the car was in a bulky camouflaged suit. I wonder if one day there will be an eventual leak of what was to come? Some, but nothing close to reality, it was in early stage when it was canceled
