It's a Barbie girl car. Disgusting purple shade for sure. I like the carbon fiber trim, but the exterior I would probably change the wheels to a silver colour rather than all black.

At least if the exterior was in the pink colour it could be wrapped or resprayed. However the interior will be cost prohibitive to reupholster.
I think they would have to put some dye on the leather upholstery to try to change it to a more acceptable colour. A dark burgundy wouldn't look too bad.

Well, it at least has an airbag cap in interior colour. Something you don’t have if you order the top of the line Manufaktur package at MB, including obligatory extra’s for just a mere € 25.000. No matter what colour you choose, blue, yellow, white or brown, the airbag cap is black.

The steering wheel, air bag in particalur is a safety device. Manufacturer like to rigerously test one spec and use wit without variations.
Aren't Manufaktur interiors outsourced to a small boutique supplier that might also upholster V-Class? If so, you would need to give them air bag to re-upholster. This introduces risk.

I really can’t imagine MB, or it’s supplier, isn’t able to have matching colors for it’s airbag caps for it’s top of the line interior spec, because of an assumed safety risk. Audi A8 and Bentley for instance have no problems with it. MB didn’t either in the not so distant past.
In my opinion it’s ordinary cost saving. So is the fact, that the seats aren’t completely in colour. The whole backside is held in black. That just looks cheap in my eyes, especially with light colour leather.

Must say...I love those Monoblocks and the anodized body-coloured sideglass trim.
I also like the body colour grill surround directly connecting to the bumper. It looks very smart this particular Maybach S-class.

Yes, figments of imagination and vapourware. Still, some of the images presented are simply exquisite.
