Wow that is a crazy price for a GLS with some glitter.Flashback to the crazy (and frankly stupid) post-Covid lockdown time. Nowadays you won’t have too much trouble negotiating a deal, though they are surprisingly popular.
I’m no longer as apathetic as I used to be against it, but I still rather have a Range Rover Autobiography (though they are selling way over stick for the moment).

Quite a decent set of performance figures for a 2.8ton Non AMG model GLS.
Missed opportunity by not offering the V12.

I would say for a few more years in some markets like the USA.How long will they hav the V12 in production cars?? I mean in S-class
Only car they still offer it is the S Maybach 680.. the take rate for the Maybachs are very low compared to the S in the US since most people drive themselves. I think I have seen more Flying Spurs and Ghosts than Maybach S classes where I live. I will be surprised if it survives the Z223 face liftHow long will they hav the V12 in production cars?? The 680? I doubt it. They have a lesser engined Maybach slotted below the S580 if memory serves right just to save from emissions/ engine size related taxesOf course it will survive the facelift. They sell plenty of them in China alone to justify the S680.

You are all over the place. First you bring up china and then the US.. show me the breakup by the numbersI don’t see it being dropped. They put a lot of effort into mating the V12, 4Matic, and the 9 speed. There are no such taxes here in the USA.

I said it sells in China. I said taxes aren’t an issue here. Point is China alone will ensure the car stays in production. If you’re buying this kind of car taxes aren’t an issue. I don’t see them dropping the car after the effort they put in it.You are all over the place. First you bring up china and then the US.. show me the breakup by the numbers
