I'm really looking forward to the grunge match between the Maybach, Ghost and Flying Spur, will be a fascinating comparison test. The Maybach looks like the underdog but it could surprise everyone.

I think the comparison test results would be absolutely aligned to their price points.

The Maybach can match on beat the Rolls tech and function, but the sense of occasion just can't be compared. This is still just an S-Class compared to the Rolls which costs like 100K+ more to start.

All true. Overall though, the Maybach makes much more sense if you want the most comfortable and modern luxury vehicle in production. It may not have the same presence or hand-made feel but it is obviously outstanding nonetheless. I'd choose it over the others simply because it is more discreet.

The Interior is super luxurious especially the back seat. If they could only put in a different steering wheel and also different wood trim to that in the S-class then this would be near to perfect.

Wow, EQS SUV Maybach so early? Maybe just a concept car for now, which might be very close to the production version?
The C-Class T-Model AllTerrain will start on August 18

AMG E Performance will follow on September 1st
But the production version of the AMG ONE with over 1,000 hp is finally being unveiled

09/05/2021: World premiere of the EQE, Maybach EQS SUV and smart eSUV

Only a concept of the Maybach EQS SUV will be shown and not the real production car.

It's going to be a big let down from concept to production. Mercedes should think about stopping concepts that only wind up looking like shite in production form. I for one am tired of it.

I don't associate pink LED's with luxury, Barbies bedroom, but not luxury.

I’m hoping that Maybach will incorporate more and more distinctive design than the models they’re based on. Similar to the render it would be reasonably efficient if Maybach’s had a different nose and rear end, yes it would cost more but I think customers would appreciate it.

IMHO this would be the ideal Maybach design for this generation

Mercedes-Maybach

In November 2014, Daimler announced the revival of the Maybach name as a sub-brand of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W222), positioned as an upscale version akin to the more sporty Mercedes-AMG sub-brand.
