GLS [Official] Mercedes-Maybach GLS (X167)

The Mercedes-Benz GLS, formerly Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, is a full-size luxury crossover SUV produced by Mercedes-Benz since 2006. The GLS is considered the flagship of the marque's SUV lineup, although the body-on-frame G-Class (originally intended for military off-roading but also offered in luxurious trims) is more expensive and has been in production longer.

Haha i'm probably closer to the truth than you want to believe. I could be wrong about the hybrid I4, maybe it will be a hybrid I6 from the GLS, because I'm pretty sure a hybrid engine will end up in this at some point, most likely for the Chinese market, like the S400 Maybach sold in China.
Yeah, it seems like all mercedes models will be a mild hybrid and it will not come as a surprise if there is a I4 mild hybrid which is already powering the S320 in China. .

Is there any image or details of boot & boot space???

The video shows some details at around 4:20. :)

The UL may preview vertical dash and vent slats of the 2022 EQS SUV? In the MM GLS both are still horizontal. :)

Looking better with more pics, but it should have had a dash more in line with the concept. I would guess there are some bespoke/exclusive leather colors and wood trims for the GLS 600? If not, another miss. That dashboard from the concept (altered for production) would have been a huge wow factor when getting in the 600 and it would sell it immediately. Maybe a different steering wheel unique to just this GLS. The wire mesh below the bumper should have an option to be blacked out. Maybe a sport pack where all the chrome can be blacked out like on say the Flying Spur. Where are the other wheel designs? Come on Mercedes if you aren't going to build the suv/sedan concept thingy at least you can throw the sink at the existing GLS since you're saving a sht load of money by NOT doing a bespoke body style. I say no more than 135K base for this, 160K or so nicely loaded. Introduce a GLS650 V12 at NYC next year with a revised V12, 635-650hp, 9-speed, E-ABC standard, that might be worth 175K. As is it's "nice" but it could have been oh so much more.

Vulgar in its' ostentatiousness. While most will probably disagree, I cannot perceive the Maybach "packages" as being tasteful ennoblements of M-B automobiles. Much less can be so much more.

I am not liking the Maybach packaging in the GLS at all btw. The vehicle looks too "SUV rugged" to wear such luxurious packaging. It is like adorning a mountain man in a gold plated robe with matching sandals.

Mercedes-Maybach

In November 2014, Daimler announced the revival of the Maybach name as a sub-brand of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W222), positioned as an upscale version akin to the more sporty Mercedes-AMG sub-brand.
