Doesn’t look that much bigger than GLC EQ….
And will be less successful than the GLC63SE.Doesn’t look that much bigger than GLC EQ….
Better to cannibalise your own products, than have someone else cannibalise them for you.Won't the suv cannibalise sales of the saloon?
Just seem a bit weird to tease the hell out of the saloon as if it’s the second coming of Christ, only offer an SUV variant. It’s like showing teenagers a French 7 course menu but then presenting them with a burger and fries menu.Better to cannibalise your own products, than have someone else cannibalise them for you.
I guess it’s not weird. Like someone said, it’s better to cannibalism yourself than letting other car brands do it. And it’s also good to offer an suv in case the demand for the saloon is lower than expected. What's weird about teasing the first variant and adding another later?

They’re both gonna be brand new products. I don’t see how cannibalism comes into play tbh.I guess it’s not weird. Like someone said, it’s better to cannibalism yourself than letting other car brands do it. And it’s also good to offer an suv in case the demand for the saloon is lower than expected.
The iX5 can't compete with this. It can compete with the EQE SUV.The AMG.EA GT SUV+ coupe preparing to clash swords with the new Porsche Cayenne + coupe EV and BMW ix5 (will there also be a fastbacked "ix6" as well ?). It should be very interesting.
IMHO, all of the above mentioned appear...splendid.

Well competitor to the Cayenne EVThe X5 is a competitor to the GLE. It's not fundamentally a sports car. The GT SUV is in a different class. Comparing the two wouldn't be accurate. Think of it as an electric version of the Urus.
