Does "wood-look"'mean it's not real wood?
Matters to me. A Mercedes shouldn't have fake wood.It most certainly isn't real wood.
As long as it looks so good and expensive it won't matter at all IMO.
While I agree with you, MB has been using artificial leather for many years now as well, using fake wood isn't that surprising anymore.Matters to me. A Mercedes shouldn't have fake wood.
MB showed some details before the presentation, Monster.

Same like Martin I am curious about that wood, it does look a bit shiny to be real but nowadays the wood trim is shiny anyway!!
It is mentioned above "wood-look" trim, which gives the impression it is fake wood!!
Have any of you guys sat in the car at the show to feel whether the wood (or FAKE Wood) is at least dense and not got that hollow feeling when you tap it with your fingers?
I don't mind fake wood as long as it doesn't look obviously fake and at least have a quality feel and look to it. My mind remembers the horrible fake wood that they used to put in some Japanese cars of the 80's (like Toyota Cressida) and old Fords, like the Cortina and Grenada!!!
