Im rather impressed by this SLS BS..

Previous BS with possibly the exception of the CLK BS.. and the CLK DTM and CLK GTR..( those are non bs) has been just fat and very powerful..

But this seems to be a real track weapon, winning tests over the Ferrari F12 on some occasions, and ending up behind the GT3 for car of the year..
Steering seems amazing, and so does the overall performance..

It is opens up interesting questions about future AMGs..

The extensive use of Alcantara in Carlex Design Mercedes SLS Black Series is an homage to the GT3 racing cars.
After all, the SLS Black Series can be considered as a road-going version of the SLS GT3.

Every single inch of the SLS interior is modified in this treatment and wrapped in leather, or Alcantara, or carbon fiber. The seats get a unique upholstery pattern with leather and suede combo and yellow stitching and piping. The dashboard meanwhile is wrapped almost entirely in Alcantara and stitched with yellow thread.

A highlight of Carlex Design Mercedes SLS Black Series is its bespoke steering wheel on which all the features of this interior treatment culminate. The wheel is part leather, part carbon fiber, while the center is Alcantara. The whole thing is then garnished with yellow accents and stitching.

It could have easily gone quicker if the driver didn't have to short shift the first and 2nd gear.

Actually maybe a top fuel dragster, some of them do the 400m in 4sec!! But if you had to take the overall performance of also going around corners on a track then the F1 is probably KING for sure!!
