Hi Dawid so after seeing or sitting inside the new W223, what are your thoughts on the interior and build quality?

I think the materials are perfect as in the W222. Leather, perfect materials. I have to admit that there was a W222 next to it and I sat down to the W223. Let me put it this way, the interior of the W222 is more thoughtful. Nice designed. On the other hand, in the W223, these fingerprints on the display are not a very cool solution for me. I think that the materials are perfect as in the previous S class.

From the outside, the car is impressive. I like the design very much. I spoke to a few people in the living room who said the W222 is more sophisticated after all.

One little thing Maybach could have done was make those black plastic areas solid wood. That would have been really hot. Not doing so is either cost cutting or lack of imagination.

I think the idea is quite straightforward - the black areas are rather functional, technically equipped parts of the design, while the solid wood is there for decoration, for esthetics. I believe this is a good separation between the two, because the tech used in this car is more high tech than in previous generations. In a black environment it looks more appropriate, while on different surfaces they still give you the freedom of customization, and those surfaces are not small, and occupy your view more dominantly than the black surfaces which have a secondary optical function being placed in lower positions.

Awesome, perfect materials in the previous S and perfect materials in the new one too!
Seriously though, the old one looks so dated next to the new one it's not even funny.

I'd edit this into the previous post but my 5 minute window has expired so I am terribly sorry.

I was fortuneteller.

...it was obvious

I drew attention to the matter immediately. Some of you have said that these are pre-production vehicles. But now that the first vehicles have come to the dealers, it is clear that I was right. This is a big mistake, poor accuracy and, above all, poor inspection before the vehicle leaves the factory. Dacia would afford such slams for 10,000 euros. There are quite a few videos on youtube of cars being inspected before leaving, but I don’t know what these people are doing. Such inaccuracy should not leave the factory.
Its a big shame.
