The matte wood gave me an idea: instead of the wood trim, I think they ought to offer something like the box-grain leather that Rolls-Royce offers for the Cullinan's dash.

That very light coloured leather is an absolute no go when you’re actually using your car. If you‘re driving a few miles, ten times a year on Sunday morning it could work. In that case, be sure to sell it after two years max.

I've been thinking the same thing for years, but here we are. White/near-white leather is in as big of demand as ever.

Before I was more keen on lighter colors like silver, but with more RL pics being posted, I think my affinity to both lighter and darker colors is about equal.

White/near-white leather is finally available for an S class. This is great news.
The only bright color for W222 Post-FL was „seidenbeige“ and came with brown dashboard cover. That was a yucky combination.
BMW is offering white/near-white leather for years.

I shan’t be able to take a testdrive this year (2020).
All the W223 at my dealer will be registered in 2021. So it will be January or February. I’ll keep you posted.
