No matte finished wood I've noticed??? Looks like that option is vanished from all automakers interior options now??? Anyone still offer it?

Maybe it wasn't very popular. Maybe it was very hard to clean.

Not liking the blank button above the third memory seating button. It has a function on the driver's side, but not on the passenger's side.

You can always tell which S-Class on the streets of Manhattan is a limousine (aside from the plates), a company car, or a private car, when the driver has the passenger seat moved all the way up front. It looks like MB has let it move even further and even the headrest bends down.

I have a test driving the Mercedes S500 with Burmester 3D, listening to the PSY- Gentleman :-) :-)
It must tear of shoes :-):)

Late to the party. Christ almighty what a gorgeous car.

Loving how Benz took a few notes from the British and put their own twist on it. They just upped the game and made the interior of every competing vehicle look antiquated.
Hey who dusted you off and sent you back here?

:D

Yup. I'm glad they changed it, looks much better now.

Btw, shouldn't there be a picture thread by now? (y)

Yeah I'm glad they changed that. Yuck. I hope the AMG models don't show up with those vents.

Just my two cents regarding the S-class vs RR or Bentley thing,

I work with some ultra high net worth clients in Hong Kong, they can easily afford/collect whatever cars they want.

The most important aspects of a car for them are not exclusiveness nor image, but SAFETY and COMFORT. Generally my clients like to be chauffeured in an S-class to go golfing/work, not in RR/Bentleys because the ultra premium cars are far too high profile. In fact the most common car they own are S-class and Alphard/Elgrand, some do own RR Ghost/Bentley Mulsanne though.

With the MBC and uncountable senors/airbags built within, the new S-class is a no-brainer choice.

As I have mentioned earlier, the first batch of 150 V222 will arrive in Hong Kong on November, with all owners identified already.

I remember reading somewhere that E400L Hybrid which was (or will) be launch in China will use V6 3.0 turbocharged engine. So why the new S400 hybrid still uses the old V6 3.5 engine? Or the specification will differ from country to country?

When I watch these clips, I always wonder what the hell they're pretending to talk about "this vent is made of aluminium, the button surrounds too and the screen is a big rectangle, notice how the wood flows into the doors"
