The passenger seat moving forward I was talking about is a feature called "chauffeur mode." :D
And the key is still the same for those who were asking :(.

Getting rid of K-A was probably the best thing to happen to GCF. There's always something uneasy about a grown adult who blacks out the rearlights on his or her car. Just goes to show how much he knows about design.

First of all... I'd like to thank LaArtist for those executive pics a la New S Class and for his hard and appreciated effort and contribution for the new S Class thread. It really deserves it.

Although most of the members praised the interior for its majestic, upper class and special feel it got which I truely agree and love. I think the exterior deserves no less appreciation than that.

It's the cleanest S Class design ever. That's what Gorden Wagener and his team wanted the S Class to be. Clean and simple but at the same time very beautiful and supreme, like the iPhone, which Gorden loves and expressed his passion to it more than once.
I think it has a Clean Cut profile which look dramatic with the long wheelbase version because the swooping line extends few centimetres more before it reaches its final point in the curve, which makes the profile seems cleaner and sleeker than the short wheelbase.
Going for the XL S Class was another brilliant idea from Mercedes and encouraged not only by the financial team but by the design team as well. I have a feeling that the XL S Class will look way more classier and lighter on its wheels than the long wheelbase version.
Maybe the long wheelbase will look more balanced after all. I guess we have to wait and see...

One more thing.. the British approach with a lovely more sophisticated Germanic flavour that you can feel in the interior, is really shown in the exterior too. It should look Regal, Prestigious and Stately but again.. in a clean and simple form. Rolls Royce is a good example of that.
But in the RR you feel that it's a Heavy clean design as a body builder while in the S Class it's a Light clean design as a perfectly fit and sexy body.

I have my sources, i can not reveal :D

The video is from the Mercedes benz guides app. Its called Making of ( epic video) sadly its not available outside the app for now.

PS
The source is IG hah!

When are we going to see some good photos of this car showing how good the car looks like?

^Why?

If we post the pictures in the pictures thread, and someone wants to comment and discuss them.
You will tell us SHH its a picture thread.

And if we post pictures here you say its a discussion thread.

Give me a break.. ile post the pictures and anything W222 in here.

Im happy for those who need and like the PIcture thread, it has no purpose for me.

You won't ever be able to see it no matter how good the photo is.

Cause you like Aygos and Polos more than these kind of cars ..

I'm sorry, since this is the subject to comment and give photos that had not been previously shown. :)

Artist,

We are all thankful to you for the countless photos you have posted. The issue at least for me and possibly some others is when it's a lot of photos in one post, it takes a while for the thread to load. It's not bad if it's one or two photos, but when it's several it tends to slow things down. That is why I created the thread just like we did for the W221. Plus it's much easier to follow the conversation.
