@ LaArtist / BMWFans: I drove the new 7 series yesterday and I have to say that it is a great car.
From the point of driving.
Now I am going to order a new W222. Why? Because it is the S-class, the epitome of a luxury car.

^^ I have been critical of the S class front end for its light clusters that I felt were too big and bulbous but after looking the Brabus model I have realized that its not the light clusters but the bland and dull front bumper design on the standard car that needs redesign ASAP. The car looks beautiful with the aggressive horizontal belt line across the bumper here. The AMG bumper is a bit too aggressive and the Brabus design is just right. The U here looks better than AMG A because its flowing in the same direction as the grille above.

No...The interior is best as it is , in my opinion

I like Brabus kit for the bumpers and side skirts, but I would never change the MB wheels not remove the badges for the Brabus ones.

As far as I'm informed, it is not a "must" to remove the star and MB badges.

On German configurator a one interesting option for all LWB versions of S-class appeared. Meet panoramic roof with MAGIC SKY CONTROL for 5.890 € (traditional panoramic roof costs 1.725 €). For SWB versions only ordinary panoramic roof is available.

Guys, anyone knows if there is a new COMMAND control comming for the S-Class? I remember reading about a touch pad that combines both controls in one. I thought the single screen and the new controls would come at the same time maybe with the LCI or a year before it.

Gents looked at German website today and S350d and S500 now available with 9G-tronic.

Its strange that a new S400 4-matic Coupe has been launched with same power (270kw and 500nm) as C450 AMG, but S400 4-matic saloon still has only 245kw/480nm.

The new E63 will come with the 9 speed gearbox and so will the new I6. Those engines will replace the W222 old ones so I would say by 2016 the entire W222 range will have the 9G.

It would be better if they just name the ss coupe s450 coupe instead of s400 coupe to avoid confusion

Probably... The s500 has always been more powerful than the other 500 in the Mercedes lineup
