Thanks for some updates 714merc. Black looks so good in the shadows....

Pics are all about getting the right angles.....good job.....car looks mean.

Wow....that's awesome. I really thought it was black.
Yes, look back on page 162 for his car in different light. It is the blue. I love that color. I am getting that color with the popular Porcelain / Black interior. I like the combination of the two and the interesting blue that changes.

Yep, color goes from black to blue to grey...
Christian-S is right, sometimes looks so black in bright sun, and sometimes looks so blue and then charcoal... It's hard for me to predict how it will look, almost no rhyme or reason to it...

Bad news from Hong Kong! A brand new S500 was involved in a frontal impact accident with a taxi and was badly damaged. The S500 was not registered so is still a dealer car. The passenger in the taxi was thrown out of the vehicle and was badly injured.

Oooopsie!

I had the pleasure of really driving and experiencing the S63 AMG last week and all I can say is it's a technological masterpiece.

The AMG badge and engine speaks for itself so there's no need to elaborate there. Not a fan of the "fake" exhaust tips. Prefer AMGs of old in that aspect.

Pure presence on the road and it's massive but doesn't feel like a tank. It's easy to drive and when you put your foot down, it's really responsive.

Magic body control with the adaptive damping really does work and the road surface scan in terms of safety is amazing. Hot stone massage, yes please. It feels like you've really arrived when you bought this vehicle. I also tested presafe and intelligent drive and the active parking assist together with the brake assist. Speechless. If you ever drive an S, this is worth testing and looking at.

It really is an experience. I'm not knocking the 7 series but it's miles behind and the S-Class is really the benchmark. It always has been.

oops.

Facts:
1. HK have really poor taxi drivers.
2. I used to live very close to the dealer's parking lot (I saw brand new MB in/out in batches everyday). Zungfu drivers drive very, very fast.

From the MBC, I take it you are not in the U.S.

Do you mean the taxi drivers are financially poor? Or poor driving skills? Because from that article it doesn't sound like the taxi driver was at fault?
They are usually very bad drivers.
Although from the video it looks like the Zungfu driver ran the red light.
