When is Mercedes going to come out with a 300hp diesel? I don't even like diesels, but damn they're behind.

The U.S. market SL63 AMG has 577hp standard now.

I didn't think it was possible, but that thing KILLS the X6 in exterior looks. The design really pops on the street.

It would be nice if the ML to GLE transformation was the same.

^Totally agree,exterior wise it's definitely better looking.Shame the interior is a bit let down.I hope there's some sort of trim you can have around the AC compartment,it looks so bare and basic like if i'm looking at a GLA interior.

Stunning looking from the frontal 3/4 like that. That's a full on AMG no? Because exterior wise I think the X6 M looks just as good.

Honestly, I didn't realize what it was until I saw the camo on the headlights. I didn't really get a great look at it. But I'm definitely going to be keeping my eye out now that I know they are around here. Maybe some nights when I'm not busy I'll go out to Vance and stake out by the plant.

^ Not that I know of, Rolf. Would expect more details to emerge by March when the GLE Coupe becomes available to order. Besides the 9G-TRONIC the new GLE 350d might also feature the recently introduced steel pistons in combination with NANOSLIDE, which save another 3%. They are already in use in Daimler's commercial diesel truck engines.

Agreed, it`s bolder and trendier, more of a guy thing.
The X6 is more "soccer-mom" wagon type in my opinion. If the GLE Coupe looks that good in photos you can bet it will pop just as much in the metal, more so than in photos. The GLE63 coupe will be a stunner.

I didn't click on the article on the forum's first page as i thought i was looking at an X6. But this car is even less appealing than X6 who at leastr has a superb interior.
